Since it's inception in 1980, the Johnston County Nursery Marketing Association (JCNMA) has grown and prospered from six founding nurseries to 30 nurseries today in Johnston and surrounding counties. The Association is made up of over 1500 acres of field grown plants, 500 acres of container grown plants and 100 acres of pot-n-pot from propagation trays to 125 gallons. The Johnston County Nursery Marketing Association believes producing higher quality plants and maintaining exceptional customer service is our strength in the nursery industry. Most nurseries are located conveniently along the Interstate 40 and 95 corridors. This location will ensure easy transport to most market areas. The Johnston County Nursery Marketing Association members have cooperated with one another in both production and sales. Much of the growth in the plant industry in this area, have been directly related to the cooperation between growers. This tradition continues today through promotion of the Association as a whole with a collective effort to identify the products and the locations where they can be found. As we race towards the future, you may be assured the JCNMA will continue to provide the very best in a wide variety of high-quality plants and a strong spirit of cooperation.
